Activities and achievements
In planning our activities for the year we kept in mind the Charity Commission's guidance on public
benefit at our trustee meetings. We continue to meet our objectives as outlined above, which
benefit the semi retired or retired people in the local area.
Reserves
The Charity runs a General fund and a Projects and Development fund. The former is for general
running expenses whilst the latter is reserved for all oather expenses including one-off and capital
expenditure.

The Charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accoullts. The Charity'5 trustees
consider that an audit is notrequired for this year (under section 43121 of the Charities Act 1993
(the 1993 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.

l. Examine the accounts (under section 4313) of the 1993 Act),.
2. To follow the procedure laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners
lunder section 4317llbl of the 1993 Act),. and
3. To state whether particular matters have come to my attention.

endent Examiners, Re
My examination was carried out in accordan￿ with the General Direcrions given by the Charity
Commissioner5. An examination includes a review of the atcounts records kept by the charity and
a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of arby
unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees
concerning any such matters. The proceedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that
would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view
given by the accounts.
